KYLE VIRINA, FOUNDER & PARTNER

Kyle VirinaKyle’s professional background stems from managing broadcast media and print campaigns for national roll-outs during his tenure at some of the worlds’ leading communication firms in New York – Bozell/IPG, DMB&B/Publicis & FCB. He handled media campaigns for the Americas, Europe and Asia for clients Procter & Gamble, Chase Bank, and Burger King.

In relation to the online space, Kyle was part of the team that developed one of the most pioneering online efforts way back in 1997. The P&G Online campaign would eventually lead to Procter & Gamble being named 1998 “Interactive Marketer of the Year” Award by Ad Age magazine.

Kyle has founded 2 other companies in the last 10 years: a Management Consulting firm in charge of strategic planning and market research for Verizon, Kraft Foods, and IDT Corporation; and most recently, an ASP company servicing the United States government for emergency preparedness and eLearning initiatives. Kyle attended Columbia University and University of Albany (New York) with concentrations in Political Science and High Speed Communications. He is also the proud father of 2 boys.

RICHARD HOLDREN, SENIOR PARTNER

Rick Holdren

Mr. Holdren currently owns Appraisal & Mentor Group LLC, a top-3 M & A and healthcare valuation firm with over 2500+ completed assignments including over 200 court valuations. His current investment is a ‘virtual incubator’ with ’space-act’ agreement with NASA to commercialize its phase III SBIR companies with matching venture investment.

He is Co-Founder of Equivision, publicly traded on NASDAQ and sold for over $70 million cash, and EquiMed, a publicly traded cancer management company with a market cap over $200 million. Holdren has additionally co-founded/Invested in Physician Trust (venture backed by over 5 million in investment), DaVincian Technologies (picked by Bob Ryan’s High-Tech Start-up Boot Camp), Austin Med Tech, a publicly traded surgical ‘pack’ company, DermAmerica, a national cosmetic dermatology firm and MD Pain Clinics. A serial entrepreneur, he has founded or invested in over 26 healthcare start-ups and was named as 2002 Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation Mentor of the year.

Mr. Holdren previously was a partner in the nation’s largest physician search firm, a director of physician relations at a major hospital management firm and co-founder of Texas’s largest practice management firm.  Business Week article on Mr. Holdren

JOEY VENEZUELA, SENIOR PARTNER

Joey VenezuelaMr. Venezuela was a Senior Vice-President of McCann Erickson Phil. and a Senior EXCOM member of McCann Worldgroup Phils. He retired in 2007. His 28-year experience in Manila and New York as a creative person in the ad industry gives him valuable insights into the ever-challenging mind  of the consumer. His advertising career included stints in multinational agencies like JWT and Basic-FCB.

In McCann, his last agency, he served as the Executive Creative Director. Mr. Venezuela supervised and led several creative teams in conceptualizing and creating ad campaigns and communications programs for a wide range of products and services. From packaged goods to durables, and financial services to telcos. Among brands handled were Citibank, San Miguel Beer, Globe Telecom, Pepsi-Cola products, Goodyear Tires, MasterCard GM Cars & Trucks, and Smart Telecom.

VINH NGUYEN, PhD., PARTNER

Dr. Vinh NguyenDr. Nguyen founded and serves as CEO of Macronetics, a BPM software vendor, and GreenAsh Corporation, an IT strategy and management consulting firm for federal government agencies. He also served as Technical Advisor at MITRE and has provided executive and technical leadership at industry leading companies including Schlumberger, BMC Software, and Knight Ridder.

Dr. Nguyen is the inventor of Contextual Workflow Modeling, a state-based process engine recognized by industry experts as the future of BPM technology. Early in his career, Vinh conducted fundamental research in the areas of computational mechanics, artificial intelligence, and robotics. Vinh holds a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.

JERRY WOLFF, SENIOR PARTNER

Jerry WolffMr. Wolff brings 40 years of management, marketing and communications expertise to TIE Technologies – a bio-securities company in New York as one of its Board of Directors. As the founder, President and CEO of Total Communications Group, he established TCG as one of the leading companies in the media buying industry. TCG is a major innovator in the media industry focusing its attention and energy on research, planning, negotiating and buying of all forms of traditional and non-traditional media.

TCG’s clients have included companies such as Sharp Electronics, MBNA, IDT Corp, Commonwealth Telephone Enterprises, Colgate Palmolive, CSC Computer Services, Milton Bradley Products, Conagra Corp., LG Electronics, Casio Consumer Products, NAPA Automotive Products, Alberto Culver Co., Gulf Oil Corp., and many other blue chip corporations.

Prior to founding TCG, Mr. Wolff served as General Manager for WMCA, a radio station in New York. As a member of H2O’s Executive Team, Mr. Wolff will draw from his extensive media, communications and marketing expertise to help guide H2O’s development and strategy.

ONEAL ROSERO - EVP of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Oneal Rosero has been working as a software engineer for over 10 years, specializing in the installation, management, maintenance and troubleshooting of networks, servers and workstations in high-pressure situations. He is a visionary leader with strong management skills. He is results-driven, with extensive experience in project development and a deep understanding of emerging technology and their commercial application. He has closely serviced government and private corporations supervising software integration and middleware deployment and has partnered with Sun Cellular, Globe Telecoms and Smart Communication as a content & service provider. Prior to DFNN Corporation, Oneal was General Manager/Director for a Asia Defense & Armaments Corporation supplying equipment for the Military and National Police.  When not in his business suit, this Technology Executive dons the armour of a Star Wars Stormtrooper for events in Asia and in the United States raising funds for various charitable organizations such as orphanages and hospitals.

CLEMENT CONNOLLY, EVP of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (US)

Clement ConnollyClement has held senior management positions at premiere corporations such as The Walt Disney Company and Infinity Broadcasting. Prior to joining H2O, Clement served as President of Choice Card Solutions in Miami, FL and CEO of Currency Express, a financial services in Los Angeles, CA.

For the past 20 years, Clement has also worked as a consultant for several companies in various industries in the United States, Europe and South America.  Clement holds a B.A. from Pepperdine University and is completing a Masters in International Business from Thunderbird University.
